**Marzipan Modelling Workshop with Chef Allegra D’Agostini**
Join us for an interactive afternoon of food play! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to sculpt a variety of edible shapes and objects from marzipan. Open to all skill levels—whether you’re an artist, a food enthusiast, or just looking to try a new creative medium.
What to Expect:
The session begins with kneading and colouring your own marzipan (a sweet dough of almond flour, sugar, and eggs), followed by a live modelling demonstration. Using pre-modelled objects for inspiration, you’ll design and craft your own colourful, edible sculptures to take home.
About the Instructor:
Allegra D’Agostini is a culinary artist working between London and Toronto. With over seven years in top kitchens (including Restaurant Pearl Morissette and Violet Cakes), she uses edible ingredients for storytelling, beautifully blending food, visual art, and nature.
About Food Art Fair:
This workshop is part of the Food Art Fair at Ladbroke Hall—a two-day celebration of food as a language for creativity. The fair brings together 50+ artists, chefs, and makers for exhibitions, a curated market, workshops, and performances.
Allergen Alert:
All supplies are provided. Please note: due to the nature of the event, we cannot provide a full list of allergens or guarantee against cross-contamination. Attendees must make an informed decision regarding allergies before booking.
