Sculpt with Sugar: Threads of Malai Workshop

Explore making as a way to share stories, culture, and conversation. Inspired by the traditional craft of Thai garland making, participants will create a beautiful beaded charm using handcrafted gelatine beads molded into the shape of Thai flowers.

Through threading and assembling, this intimate 60-minute workshop encourages you to slow down, experiment with biodegradable materials, and engage with craft as a shared experience. These unique gelatine beads reinterpret familiar Thai floral ornamentation, offering a contemporary perspective on traditional forms and cultural heritage. You will leave with your own handmade charm and discover how craft can spark cultural exchange and deep connection.

**About the Host**

Nymph Vasinee is a Thai multidisciplinary designer based in London. With a background in architecture and product design, her work investigates how everyday objects, familiar materials, and cultural rituals can be reinterpreted to shape new experiences.
